Reciprocal Education Exchange Program with Southwestern University of Finance and Economics
The Department of Economics is pleased to announce the establishment of a Reciprocal Education Exchange Program with Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu, China.
The Reciprocal Education Exchange Programs (REEP) provide an opportunity for individuals to become completely immersed in a particular culture. Students participating in a Reciprocal Exchange Program pay A&M tuition and fees and remain enrolled with full-time student status at A&M while abroad.
The Reciprocal Education Exchange Program with Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) allows students to experience the culture and fast-growing economy of China without being fluent in Chinese. All courses are taught in English. For the list of courses offered, information on living arrangements, SWUFE, and the city of Chengdu, please see the brochure here.
This REEP program is mostly for students who major in economics. Other students may attend the program upon prior approval of the economics department and their own department. Please go to the Study Abroad website to apply.
Please e-mail the Academic Advisor at the Economics Department, Sarah Ura, or call (979) 845-9953, if you are interested in this program.
