Jacquelene M. Browning Memorial Scholarship

The Jacquelene M. Browning Memorial Scholarship has been established by her many friends (both students and faculty). The scholarship is open to ECONOMIC MAJORS who will have at least SOPHOMORE standing next fall. ECONOMIC MAJORS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 3.50 GPR AND HAVE COMPLETED TWO HONORS COURSES BY THE END OF THIS SEMESTER .

Elkin Scholarship in Economics

The Elkin Scholarship in Economics has been established by Jeffrey and Valorie Elkin. The scholarship is open to ECONOMIC MAJORS who will have at least a JUNIOR standing next fall. They must be enrolled in UPPER LEVEL COURSES, have a 3.0 GPA and/or showing improvement over time, be a TEXAS RESIDENT and currently receive scholarship support for no more than 20% of tuition costs.

Neal Hahn Memorial Scholarship

The Neal Hahn Memorial Scholarship has been established by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hahn in memory of their son, Neal, who was an honors Economics major at Texas A&M University. ONLY ECONOMICS MAJORS WITH (1) A MINIMUM GPR OF 3.25 AND (2) AT LEAST JUNIOR STATUS FOR THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR (COMMENCING SEPTEMBER 2011) WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
