Notes:

* A student taking more than one of these courses can apply them as ECON electives.

1. ECON 322 may not be counted toward a degree in economics.

2. At least 9 hours in a Minor must be 300/400 level. Up to 6 hours may come from elsewhere in the degree plan but hours must be made up in the General Elective category. Consult an advisor for minor options.

3. The second speech and writing skills course should be chosen from ENGL 203, 210, 235, 236, 241 or 301; COMM 203 or 243.

4. Six hours of English Literature electives must be chosen from 203, 212, 221, 222, 227, 228, 231 or 232. ENGL 203 may not be used to satisfy more than one requirement. If you are U3 or U4 classification, you must choose a 300-level literature course (except 360 and 361).

5. KINE 199 is to be taken pass/fail; KINE 198, the health & fitness course, is to be taken for a letter grade.

6. Check prerequisites. STAT 211 is especially recommended for those preparing for graduate school. STAT 211 and 303 should be taken before, not concurrently, with ECMT 463. Note that the MATH prerequisites for STAT 211 are two semesters of Calculus.

7. Including at least one lab course. Science courses should be selected from the University Core Curriculum.

8. Or less with a Minor. General electives may be selected from any courses other than economics courses.

9. To be selected from approved list. This course may also be used to satisfy any other requirement.

10. Upper Level, with minimum of 12 hours in major.
