Email / Form Submissions
Electronic mail sent when clicking on an e-mail link or submitting information via forms that contains personal or identifiable information will only be used to process the submission. In the event that another agency or person is better suited to respond to your request, your e-mail may be forwarded so that we may better serve you. We will never disclose personally identifiable information to a third party unless required to do so by law.
Site Management Functions / Tracking
Information collected for analysis and statistical purposes, such as aggregated visitor statistics (via Google Analytics). This information is not reported or used in any manner that would reveal personally identifiable information, and will not be released to outside parties, unless legally required to do so in connection with law enforcement investigations or other legal proceedings. This information is collected so that we may better serve you and tailor to general user needs and requirements.
Terms of Service (TOS)
The Department of Economics will make every available effort to keep the resources located herein available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, we cannot guarentee 100% uptime/availability due to circumstances beyond our control. Security measures consistent with the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) "Information Security Standards" and TAMU Rules and Standard Administrative Procedures have been employed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of information under our control, as well as the loss, misuse, or alteration of this website and/or associated electronic information resources. The information resources that support this site undergo an annual information security risk assessment via the Information Security Awareness Assessment and Compliance (ISAAC) system. The ISAAC system is used to assess the security posture of information systems and measure compliance with information security standards.
