Department of Economics of Sogang University in Seoul, Korea invites applications for any field of economics. There is one opening, beginning Fall 2009, at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor.
Candidates for assistant professor rank should expect to have the Ph.D. completed by August 2009. Teaching will be done in English. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, dissertation abstract or sample research paper,
evidence of teaching effectiveness, and letters from three references.
Appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2009, leading to longer-term appointment or
