The Korea Environment Institute (KEI) is a government-funded research institute devoted to research and development of environmental policies in Seoul, Korea. We have openings for research fellow positions in the following areas:
Microeconomics, Econometrics and Statistics, Resource & Environmental Economics, Industrial Organization, Regional Economics, Public Economics
The candidates should be fluent in Korean, and must have completed, or nearly completed a Ph.D. degree in economics, public policy or other related fields relevant to the position.
Interested applicants should send by post a curriculum vita, a personal statement letter, academic transcript and graduation certification, and a doctoral dissertation and one research paper related to the applying field.
The application review process will be on-going, beginning from early January until all the positions are filled. We will contact successful candidates for an interview in Korea. We also plan to conduct on-site interviews in the U.S. sometime in mid-February.

Applications are welcomed from young professionals with outstanding records in academic research. The selection will be made based on research potential. The BK 21 Education and Research Program is financially supported by the Korean Ministry of Education.
