The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), founded in 1990 and sponsored by the Korean government, is a leading think tank that plays a major role in advising the government on policy planning.

KIEP is currently seeking candidates for the position of RESEARCH FELLOW in the fields of open macroeconomics, international finance, international trade and area studies (especially for the U.S.).

Qualifications
Applicants should have completed or nearly completed a Ph.D. with research interests in the fields mentioned above. Fluent communication skill in Korean language is required. Prior research experience and publication in major journals are assets.

The Korea Transport Institute

The Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) has an opening for an Economist. The candidate should be at or near completion of the Ph.D. The KOTI is government funded research institution responsible for providing recommendations and alternatives for the nation's transport policy and assist to create the optimal transport system by specialized research and technical innovations. Currently, KOTI is also involved with well-established international organizations (East-West Center, ASEAN, UN ESCAP, ERINA, TRADP and APEC) and conducting research for improvements in international (especially North-East Asia) transport system and policy.
