The Institute for Monetary and Economic Research (IMER) of the Bank of Korea invites applications for a full-time associate research fellow position in International Macroeconomics(International Finance). The IMER conducts a wide range of studies on monetary and economic issues to provide appropriate information for the framing of Korean monetary and economic policies.

FIELDS: International Macroeconomics(International Finance)

QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in economics and relevant experience in research and academic institutions. New Ph.D. applicants should complete all requirements for the Ph.D. degree by the end of August 2008. Excellent research potential, strong technical writing skill, and full proficiency in Korean are required.

KRIVET (Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training)

Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education (KRIVET) invites applications for full-time associate research fellow positions in economics and education. KRIVET is a government-sponsored research institute under the umbrella of the Office of the Prime Minister whose main aim is to lead global HRD through human resources policy research.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Ph.D. in economics or education, and previous research experience of 2 years or more in education and training or related fields, or those recognized to have equivalent qualifications and experience
