LG Economic Research Institute (LGERI), the think tank of the global company LG, is looking for Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate applicants in the fields of energy, natural resources or environmental economics. The opening position is responsible for analyzing and forecasting the movement of energy and commodity markets, and researching various issues related to energy, natural resources, environment and green growth. We have another opening position of a business strategist which is responsible for making and developing business plans, strategies and portfolios regarding growth opportunities in terms of products and markets.

The announcement at the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh acknowledges the shift in global economic power and the promise to re-align quota shares and voting rights to developing countries. With these changes there is hope that we
may raise the level of representation of Korean citizens among our Staff to acknowledge Korea's extraordinary economic progress. The Fund seeks applications from
Korean citizens who are PhD educated macro economists.

Department of Economics of Sogang University in Seoul, Korea invites applications for any field of economics. There is one or two openings, beginning Fall 2009, at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. Candidates for assistant professor rank should expect to have their Ph.D. completed by August 2009. Those who applied for Sogang University in last December need not apply again.
