Membership Dues

There are now 65 members who have paid their annual membership dues as of November 24, 1998. This is a pretty good record compared to past years, considering in particular that the membership dues are doubled this year. Thank you all!

The Association still needs supports from all other members. You may click on the Dues-Paying Members to check the list of the members who paid 1998 membership dues. If your name is not on the list, please send your payment to the treasurer, Dr. Jinill Kim, Department of Economics, 114 Rouss Hall, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va. 22903-3288. Checks should be made payable to the Korea-America Economic Association.

You may download the Annual Membership Application Form in a pdf file if you need one.

The KAEA session, Applied Economic Issues, was held on November 10 in Omni Inner Harbor Hotel. Here is the report from Professor Kim about the meeting.

"We had a good session at the SEA-KAEA meetings in Baltimore this past week. I will try to organize two sessions next year. I tried to minimize financial expenses for the KAEA - with the dinner expense of $70.00."

Please give Professor Kim an applaude for his excellent service.
