Bio
I was born in Ulm, Germany in 1972. After I graduated from the University of Augsburg in 1998, I enrolled in the graduate program in economics at the University of Rochester. I received my Ph.D. in 2003 and joined the faculty at Texas A&M in the same year. I have taught Intermediate Microeconomics, Principles of Economics, and Econometrics at the undergraduate level. I also have taught Labor Economics in the Ph.D. program.
In my research I investigate the effects of social interactions on labor market outcomes. I study social networks and their role in the job search process. I am also interested in intergenerational relationships in the labor market.
